I would like to buy a cheap broken Ducati engine (desmodromic twin) to basically pull apart and learn about. The side casings etc must be intact, but crank/ conrod/ pistons can be in any condition as I do not intend to make it into a running engine again... It is destined to have casings cleaned and polished and made into a coffee table!!!!!

Now that would be cool, if you want a piece of hoted up burnt Desmoart I have a 916 Desmoquattro, casings are intake but sporting a black heat treatment side of the road anodizing

I intend to remove cam covers leaving belts exposed, then cut away a part of the side casings on one of the heads in order to display the desmo valves...
