Check out the classifieds on ducati.ms. DPG is selling his 749R but I believe its an 05. There is a 04 749R that is posted on craigslist often in the SF bay area. Bike hasn't sold as the owner is asking a bit much for the bike ~$14k iirc.

The '04 749R in street form is a beautiful thing. I love the one I have and wouldn't sell it for anything. I asked if you were looking for a street bike because I might be looking to sell my '05 749R, but it is basically tracked out.

04 is the right choice in my opinion because of the full carbon fiber bodywork.

Is it the 04 on Ducati.ms, owner seemed like a good guy. Good luck on an outstanding and beautiful bike.
