On a small bike Daytona is incredibly boring.

750 and up bring your big gears and practice your drafting.

Go for it

I did Team Hammer this year... Met Scott Russel, Dane Westby, Elana Myers, John & Chris Ulrich, and even Rick Shaw (who held the record for most miles around daytona for decades), they were all very cool and helpful... best of all, Now i'm Licensed to race!

While i'd love to qualify for the 200... It's just not going to happen, so...
I'm looking forward to racing in the AHRMA series next year...
I'm not nearly fast enough to be competitive in CCS or WERA, but AHRMA is much more relaxed.
Talked to some of the guys at the races in 2010, they told me it was more of "a bunch of older guys on older bikes who rather go home in one piece"... I'm planning on doing 4 weekends, Roebelling Roads, Road Atlanta, VIR, & Daytona.
