Ride a sportbike in the rain? Its not a BMW or a Hardly Abelson.

. Anyways, if it makes you feel any better, here in TN it was 75 degrees, sunny and no traffic out. And I live at the base of a mountain.

And just because I want to do my part to help you feel better Doc, we rode the NC Mountains Saturday in 75* weather with not a cloud in the sky.
A couple 999's , a couple 916's , but no rain.Hope that helped.

Yes it is MN but I finally got to go out and ride about 70 miles tonight... SWEET! I'm happy! I've ridden a lot of bikes in my life and even bone cold stock this bike amazes me. While not the raw power of my GSXR the bike is rock solid stable and gives me more confidence than my RC51 or GSXR did.

Glad to hear that you finally got some miles on her Doc. I've been riding in the rain the past 2 weeks since I've picked up my bike and now that it's dry and sunny outside, I can't ride because my exhaust isn't done yet.

Well, it does not always rain, sometimes it snows, like right now!!!!
I have been away on business and I got home just in time for this latest snow storm. I bought my new bike in December and I have not been home to pick it up from the dealers. I was planning on getting it today but it is snowing and blowing.
I have to haul it 250 miles through snow, road sand/gravel and dumb ass people who think 70 miles an hour on ice in white out is a totally fine thing.
Not gonna happen, I will wait until next week. I have waited this long so it is not going to kill me to wait a little longer.

Not at all Drew! It had more to do with a short time to ride and I wanted to get out ASAP. Wife changes her mind like the wind. DON'T marry a woman who doesn't love motorcycles. At least I can turn my bike off and it doesn't get jealous if I go ride another bike.

The G/F signed us both up for MSF in June so we'll see how she likes it.
