I can't take anymore freakin' snow! It's a complete "white out" out there today. Man oh man, I'm working on my Duc in the garage today and just want to get out for a ride. Will Spring ever come? I'm close to losing it.

I was doing the same last night. Finished repacking my exhaust, cleaned it all up, checked the gap in the plugs, put the cans and fairings back on, ..... and now we wait. I feel your pain. More snow on the way.

Hey Mental, let me be the first to pass along a big "YOU SUCK" from snowy, cold and wet Boston.

I am looking at the calender and it says mid March but looking out side it seems like early February...

didn't you guys go riding on Sat or Sun? It was 35-45F in NYC and above -it felt good to ride 150miles. Need to get your "fix" whenever you can.

Yeah..it sucks...I'm glad I got the 748 in the basement this year. It's so nice to work with heat and light. Last year I worked on it outside in the trailer...sux.
Just starting to snow (again) here at work!!! The storm we had last week was the worst driving conditions (9PM) I've ever experienced in 32 yrs. of commuting.

I hear you. I haven't even started my winter mods yet. I have to start this weekend, or they will never get done. I use Dyno Solutions in Danbury for dyno testing, and mapping. Do you use to John T.? If you ever want to ride pm me. I cut through Danbury on route 53 to route 39 and up into to Litchfield County. I also do group rides with some RC51 people from this board. We hit NH, and VT. ducatiwheelie rode with a binch of us last year.

That's the west side of the state. East side is a desert and we get sun.

I guess that's better than horizontal snow!

Re: White out in New England (edwyun)

Its actually been pretty nice out here in western WA the last few days. I had the bike out earlier today for a bit, it was sunny and the air could ALMOST be called "warm." Didn't have time for a long ride but I'll take what I can get!!

I used to live in Rochester.

Now I remember why I left and moved to North Texas.
I hate living half a year with a snow shovel in hand.

Upper 60's in January with bright sunshine. Ahhhhhhh...

Hey Layne let me add a you suck! As well
Yeah, I know. Envy is an ugly emotion. It's 18 degrees here now, fresh snow and 45 mph wind gusts
Hey SP8 I don't even know who John at Dyno Solutions is, where in Danbury is he located? I'm about a 1/2 mile from the ughh.... mall. Yeah, we'll ride this season. You'll be amazed at all the roads I know in Western CT and Eastern NY.
Oh and Chucles, clean up that garage man. What are you doing crowding that poor, unsuspecting 749S?

Yeah, but it's the sand that bothers me. Not sure if my town knows what salt is. I can't even see my road...looks like a big, long sandbox. Had the duc up and around the block in early Jan. to warm the engine up for an oil change...that's about it.

Dyno Solutions is at Cliff BMW at 84 Mill Plain Rd. Shoot me a IM when the weather decides to like bikers again.
