I just got my new wheels

but it seems i put the tire on backwards

i think there is only a 1-2mm difference will it matter? i am pissed and don't want to take the tire off and remount and balance.i spun the wheel and it goes nicely

can tires be run backwards?

any advise for the stupid here?

I know a few guys at the track that get there tires turned around backwords after a few races, to get more use out of them.

Long, smokey burnout till it pops. I'd advise against it. You can get away with it on dirt tires, I wouldn't do it with a radial tire meant for asphalt.

Bump

the spacers on each side are slightly different and i mounted the tire wrong. I have tried the wheel each way and measured of the rotor face to see the difference. i have found that difference to be around 1-2mm. Either way the wheel seems to spin fine should this matter?

another quick ? how does one determine which way a front wheel goes? they seem universal for the most part.
