What the Fork are you.........................

Hey, I need some forks for my S4R project.

I need either some actual OEM fully adjustable S4R forks or some 99-2002 Showas off of the 748-996-998 with the gold nitrided sliders and 65mm brake mounts. They can be a little beat up since I will be getting them polished, but no deep scratches please. I don't care how many miles are on them.

Oh yeah, I don't want to pay much either

Who has some?

If you're rebuilding them anyway, you could buy my '98 Showas and have the stanchions DLC'd in black for a different look. I was going to, but didn't wanna take anymore time out of the riding.

Are they SBK Showas?

Long story, but right now I have some non adjustables on there and the cartriges are pressed together and it would be ton of work to do a re-valve and they need some rebound realy bad!

Yes they are.....with chrome sliders from a '98 916. Take'em apart, get the sliders DLC'd in black then install some lowers for radial mount calipers. That was my plan but I ran out of time. In fact, I may go ahead and do it, since I've got the TiNi forks on now. Then I can sell the TiNi forks later on......
