I don't think this is right anymore, I'm pretty sure the WSS bikes haven't been faster since the beginning of the season. Same with the 250s, it just took season for them to figure out the Moto2 bikes and now they are faster.
I don't know that the CRT idea is that bad, especially when compared with some of the customer spec bikes that have been out there. The 3 extra liters of fuel will make a difference, and I'd be surprised if they weren't running with the satellite bikes by the end of the first season. If they can do that and keep the grid size above 20, I'd call it a success.
