It's been getting kinda warm and humid down here in the South, and my hands have been sweating so badly inside my gloves that they become uncomfortable to wear and hard to take off. Can anyone who's had any experience with warm weather gloves chime in with makes/models they've found to be the best? I'm really looking for something nice and vented but still providing adequate protection. I've never been in heat and humidity like this before, and have no experience with vented gloves so any help is greatly appreciated. TIA.

Re: Warm weather gloves? (duc97sp1)

Those were one of the models I was considering. I'm going to be using them mostly for commuting, so they don't have to be the ultimate GP glove or anything. Do the air intake scoops actually do what they claim? I was also looking at the Fieldsheer Sonic Air gloves. I like them because the are "cowhide and titanium mesh" which just sounds super cool. Has anyone tried these:

Re: Warm weather gloves? (blueSS)

I suggest that you stick with a top-rated glove that you find comfortable.

Then use a pair of small grooming kit scissors and take out a 1/4-inch nip of material between the fingers at their base, close to where they meet the palm. Then all that you need to do is to spread your fingers a little for cooling when needed. Try it on an old pair of gloves first, I think that you'll be pleased with the results.
