well i dont really know what direction to go with this company now but i placed an order about 2 weeks ago and have had no contact with the company since, i have tried calling many times and leaving messages as i am trying to change one piece in my order, and i have sent several emails along with instant messages on this forum to BFP. I have not heard back from anyone and no tracking numbers or anything. I dont know what some of you guys have had in the way of customer service but to me it is unnaceptable. Do any of you know how i could resolve this situation??

This seems very unusual as they are normally right on the case, I here your frustration but they are worth sticking with IMO.

well i heard they have the BEST cf parts and that is why i went with them, and i did place a large order of stuff but i have been hearing a lot of threads latley about bad customer service and non shipment of products and i just hope i am not one of these guys.

Be a little more patient, you never know...anything could be going on like a family problem, a computer problem, vacation, etc. I've read nothing but positve comments about them, I'm sure they'll do their best to resolve the issue

I am an unhappy BenFer customer. Actually, can I be called a customer even though I never received what I ordered? I received absolutely no assistance from them in tracking down the lost package.I will never buy from them again, nor do I recommend them.

Wow, and I was about to place an order with them, customer service iffy...count me out.
Not really in the mood to run the risk of being one of those Jo’s, (looking forward for the morning mail just to get disappointed

Anyone can get Sh*tty service from anyplace. Just like there are a$$ holes in every country.

I hear that the carbon fibre EbargainLLc on ebay is the way to go.


You didn't buy a Duc because it was easy to maintain, did you?

I'm not trying to be harsh here. I hope you get it resolved as 99% of the people I know praise BFP.

I can;t comment on Benfer, but the carbon they sell is made by Clay Carrier Composites in San Diego (www.carbonfiberman.com). It is top quality, but you can get it elsewhere. I don't think they sell direct, but I believe Motowheels carries it.

yeah well i have dropped close to 500 bucks already so i am going to have to sit it out and i guess quit looking forward to the afternoon mail. I hope i hear soon, im giving it another week before i give it in to the hands of my attorney. See i dont really care if it would cost me more that way i am all about principal in life.

If you think about it all he probably got was a rear fender and a front fender or some carbon air runners
not hard to drop $500 on carbon

i ordered all the heel guards, keyguard, heat sheild, tank protector and a few other things, if i had gotten better service i would be placing an order for the air runners soon also, but its not looking that way

Capt., I can understand and respect your opinion. I can't speak for anyone else, only my case. I waited a reasonable amount of time, only to have my emails "lost", "misrouted", "dumped into the SPAM folder", etc.. When I did get a response, Dan was too busy to help me. By the time I really got his attention, it was too late to do anything about the missing package. He also refused to file a missing package form at the Post Office to help me locate it.

I'm not rich enough to pi$% away $300 at a time everytime I order something. I've learned my lesson. Next time I spend that much, it's going to be in person and I will walk away with my purchase.

However, I do have enough disposable income to attempt $30 from a company like EbargainLLc at least once. Yes, it's not the same quality as BenFer, but with Benfer's prices the expectation of customer service is there. Why do people shop at Saks or Nordstroms? Sure they can get the stuff cheaper, but they'll pay the extra for the customer service.

Unfortunately for me, the customer service at Benfer is lacking.

Hey, I dropped $45 at ebargainllc!
The parts on my bike too, after some fitting.

I'm not on anybodies side, well more on the consumers side I guess, but it just sucks that people can have bad experiences with companies like BFP.

I have had great customer service through benfer...Give Dan a call, and I'm sure he'll straighten everything out.

They're stuff is well worth the wait!

ok the package arrived today and i was able to speak to dan on the phone and he was very polite and apologized about the situation as he is moving locations for the business, because of the hassle he is sending me something for free and i am happy about that, so for anyone else having troubles i would suggest giving him a call and working it out.

If a mod wants to delete this thread now that would be fine as there is no need to give the guy a bad name any more after he has come through
