Whats the valve adjustment timeline like for 748/996/998's?

Is it every 3k miles? or every 6k miles?

i did use the search method on "valves" but got conflicting sources...one guy said 3k, one said 6k.

Anyone?

It is every 6k miles for the 748/99X bikes.
I don't think I'd own this bike if I had to take it in every 3 thousand miles.

Re: (Soulsedge)

The valve adjustments are due at 6K and then every 6K after that one all motors.

I have found that if you get one done/do one at 600 miles that the 6K etc adjustments turn into "checks". This is not a steadfast rule though.

The 748-996 motors need to be adjusted more often than the 749/999 motors. I have seen 749/999 motors go an entire race season without needing and adjustment.

What are you guys adjusting your valves to? I heard that the specs recommended by Ducati are on the loose side.
