It's a 100 mile drive for me to look at a Gibson Les Paul or a Ducati of any kind!

You oughtta see the roads around here though...I'm on the western edge of the Adirondack Mountains. Goooood riding indeed...well, when we aren't coverd in snow, that is.

Re: (Chuckles)

I grew up in Watertown. Possibly one of the most beautiful places on the planet, not Watertown but the area, for about 6 weeks a year, no joking. The other 46 weeks leave a little to be desired. And yes the roads are awesome, just watch out for the turkeys, deer, bears and drunk hunters driving out to kill the turkeys, deer and bears

The best is sledding (that's local speak for snowmobiling) at 80mph through thick woods from bar to bar in sub-zero weather. Of course only candyasses wear helmets. People are suprised when some yahoo wraps his sled around a tree and dies of massive head injuries. The snow is soft, right? Good wholesome fun. It's been awile since I left but those are some of my fond memories.

I'm gonna book a flight home right now.

PS Sorry for the thread jack, Busamouse.

Not to be a smart @ss, but 30 miles west of Watertown is Lake Ontario. That IS out of the way!
