Cool, I was looking at going last year but I had only been riding a month. Forgot all about it this year until now. I might have to check it out. Sounds like a lot of fun.
Jager, you should come! it is a great way to get some relaxing riding in as well as eating too much and kicking tires in the parking lot over some beers. Always an enjoyable time. The track days are where the speedy riding happens.
Hope it gets back soon. I'm pretty sure I don't have anything else planned for that weekend, so if my taxes don't kill me I'll probably send in the registration fee next week. Be nice to put some faces to the names.

Whats even funnier is that I brought my 999 and the R6 to the Roe " bling bling " Road US Desmo event and my R6 is the only bike that I know about that didnt run that day.
Hey Duc, let me know if you decide to go to the US Desmo Ride. Depending on where you live in SC, you might be riding close by me on your way up. Maybe we could arrange a place to meet up and ride the rest of the way there.
BTW, I post a nice long reply to your post in the SE region section.
you guys from Raleigh and 999Duc should go to wear your tires evenly, I know you have a big flat spot in the center of the tire and need to wear the edges down a bit. There can't be enough on/off ramps in your area to do that.

This is true for me, I just replaced a tire for that reason.
999DUC, Rick and I are ready to ride, call.
Norm, We haven't made formal plans yet but probably will meet up on the BRP at Spruce Pine mid-day Friday and putt on up there, weather permitting. Yeah, I know, the BRP is too slow but sure don't want to have to go through Boone, no other good way.
