I live 30 minutes from the track so Im not camping or getting a hotel room with the group but I will be there on monday.

AA 996 We will be staying at the Days Inn that is off of Exit #5 in Hardeeville, SC, Jim blocked some rooms over there. Good rate too. We had a good time last year, went out to eat and tryed not to drink beer


I am looking forward to it! The weather should be nice. Look us up! Don't know if we will have the enclosed trailer, you can't miss my Tennis ball...I mean bike!

YelloDesmo, Sounds good! Rick has a tennisball colored 748, I've got an 851 with some 888 bodywork and some white primer parts, real ugly!

It would be fun to get together! I am not real familiar with the area but if possible, I would like to head out (down on the river in Savannah?) to eat a piece of good fish. We are thinking about getting out of here at a reasonable time (snow in the air right now, to provide impetus) so that we can arrive in time.

Hey all, I'll talk to my buddy with the big ass trailer and see if he can save some real estate around him. That way it will be easy to find (a 44' Toy Hauler should stick out like a sore thumb!). He usually parks down towards Turn 9, almost at the entrance to the cold pits. I think there's a permanent RV there if anyone is familiar with the track. Should be a great place to hang out.

At least he has track plastic , Im going to do a few laps with my 05 999 using my OEM plastics.


Most of my riding will be on the R6 since the 999 hasnt had it's 600 miles service yet so I have to keep it under 6000 still.

Yeah, I haven't been to Jennings yet but am chomping at the bit to get there. Meanwhile I'm looking forward to a great event Monday.

Well, it was a great day weather -wise. Clear and temps in the upper 70's. NC Rick, Marvin, 999Duc, YellowDesmo998 and Webman were all there. Oh, and Jay was there too! It was a good track day, I know of only one crash the whole day and the ambulance didn't have to leave the track for that. The only bummer was that 999Duc couldn't get his track R6 to run correctly. So he basically sat out the whole day.

I know for me it was good to just circulate and knock the cobwebs off. I didn't try to set the world on fire but I felt by the end of the day I had gotten my groove back.

It was great to put in a few laps, see old friends and put faces to names of some of the crazies who prowl this forum!

Yep , The R6 came back from a major service right before the event so I didnt even get to ride it until my first track session.
I got about 100 feet and the bike cut out like it was running out of fuel.


I spoke to the shop who serviced it and it will be back there tommorow.
Oh well, shit happens.

It was great meeting you speedzilla guys at the event , I hope to get to RIDE with you guys sometime soon.
