i just got a 2-1 for the 851 that has 'Thunderball' in a little circle on the muffler name plate and 'F1' as the main marking on the muffler name plate. looks pretty cool.

anyone ever seen or heard of it before? system is 45mm headers intoa very big - 55 or 60mm collector and then into a not too long muffler. reckon it'll be loud.

brad -

you might just have found the most elusive of all exhaust systems known to mankind ...

if i am correct based on your description, these exhaust systems were made in very limited quantity, specifically for use in the james bond classic "thunderball", and were part of his jet pack, pictured below.

i can't host the pictures unfortunately. doesn't matter, it doesn't fit my '89 anyway, which is a real bummer. it'd fit great on a bike with hi footrests (hits the bottom of the brake pedal), bolt on muffler/pillion footrest brackets and no rear indicators.
