I read Graham Greene's 'The Quiet American' (published 1955) when I was at uni. The uni library didn't have it, but the State Library not too far away did. Couldn't borrow from that library, so I read it in an afternoon - only time I have read a book that fast (soslow, you know). I think it's the only book of Greene's I have read.
