I don't see that passing at this time. The American people, on the whole, know very little about the truth in Israel. And when they think of Israel they think of WWII - they see us as Jewish protectors, or saviors from genocide. This big brother psycosis puts them in a firm state of denial whenever Israel is mentioned in a negative light - after all, we shed blood partly for the Jews and that makes some attitudes absolutely immovable. Throw in the usual skin color bias and the misconceptions about 9/11 and the very real impression that Arab leadership has their heads up their asses, and you get Americans who willfully have their heads buried in the sand. Their moral compass remains in their pocket because they don't want to admit their mistake.

Also, South Africa was clearly black against white. Americans carrying the weight of slavery added to the desire to correct things in South Africa - a kind of a guiltwashing. We don't have that kind of history with Arabs. It will take a lot of educating to bring about this change. Having that ugly blob, Hellen Thomas, lead the charge is not going to help any . But eventually the wrong will be corrected, one way or another. The only question is will it be peacefully done or mass destructively done.
