thanks to everyone that responded to my post about the 748. i have decided to get a suzuki TL1000R for right now while im in florida and will look into getting a 748 or 998 once i move to phoenix,az. dont flame me about this please i mean hey at least its a v-twin right.

Cant flame ya....4 wheels move the body, 2 wheels move the soul.....All bikes you start, Ducati's you bring to life....Good luck on the TL.

The TL will just increase you desire for a Duc, so its all good! My

998 has the Teste, no bad rockers and easier to maintain.

Watch steering head bearings and check them regularly for tightness......plus when ya hammer into a corner at 8/10ths and it feels like the bike is flexin....it is.

Why are you moving to Phoenix from Delray Beach?

I used to live in Pompano Beach and moved to Phoenix 13 years ago.

I miss the ocean. So far this year, it has rained more here than summer in Florida.
