Does anyone have a tank pad? If so how does it look and is it worth the 30 bucks? I am looking at the ones on Section 8.

Re: Tank Pads? (Ronin178)

how thick is the Tankslapper piece (s) / true that they can be applied and removed more than one time? Are they like a heavy vinyl decal (static stick) ?

Mag Knight magnetic pieces are super nice as well

they also come in flat black, glossy black, carbon look, and color match limited

Re: Tank Pads? (throttlehead)

I buy 1/2 inch expanded foam in sheets and cut it to shape. Helps out with the family jewlz when braking hard.

Re: Tank Pads? (throttlehead)

The tankslapper stuff is thick enough to protect the tank, can't really give you a exact number or anything. It does a great job from keeping your jeans, leather, belt, etc from scratching your tank.

Plus it's pretty much invisible, most people don't even see it until I tell them it's on there.

It doesn't use any adhesives, so yes it can be used as many times as you want.
