Re: Take a ride through Germany (bruntr)

Bruntr... We really need to get together. I am still finding great roads down here near K-town and the roads near you don't look shabby either. I feel really lucky to be in Germany right now, the riding is incredible.

OT.... Have you figured out how you are going to get your Ducati back to the CONUS? I really need to figure that out so I won't have to sell my baby when it's time to move!

I just found out that on Thursday nights between 1700 to 2000 hrs we can go to the Hockenheim Ring and pay 12 Euro for 15 minutes of tracktime.

Re: Take a ride through Germany (bruntr)

Great Video!, I noticed you guys drive on the correct side of the road over there.
What happens when you enter a country that drives on the wrong side of the road? How do the make the switchover? These are the things that keep me awake at night...

Funny you should ask that. I just moved from the UK in January and the change for the car wasn't too hard since the steering wheel is also on a different side. When it comes to motorcycle it was a different story. When I pull up to an empty intersection, SOMETIMES, I catch myself wondering which lane to pull out into. It's a split second thing, but it does catch me out sometimes.

I was just sitting here in the office eating lunch watching the video

That is awesome man. Those roads are unbelievable and to think no speed limit only when you get to town must be great

The bike looks great too and sounds sweet.
