I put a set on a 1997 900 SS and need to have them worked on (too stiff springs and damping). I've tried Jim Lindemann twice so I know about him. Who else do people recommend from personal experience? I lean towards Racetech just because I have a 20% discount coupon for parts, that I got at a Fastrackriders school. Anyone have
to add?
TIA. Joe

go to him first! don't let just anybody work on your forks or rear shock. believe me do not let a local wrench touch them, it will just cost more in the long run. call Mike "Thermosman" Fitzgerald. i spoke with him on friday and i think he's still up in the north east right now.

Anyone else just doesn't matter. Thermosman is your only option if you want it done right.

I think Stig at Peterson Pro Suspension is a pretty good guy.

Thermosman did the forks and shock on my R6. I just came back from Jennings and am extremely satisfied with the results. He resprung, revalved and refreshed the forks, resprund and refreshed the shock. He IS the man!!
I highly recommend him. Very professional and a speedy turn around time! He's getting my shock and forks off my 998 very soon!

Re: Superbike fork respring and revalve recommendations? (oneducs)

I had Thermosman put Penske valves in my Showas last year. He was recommeded by Penske...

A night and day difference.

I can't imagine you could go wrong with Stig at PPS either. I was going to have him put the Ohlins kit in my bike first, before I settled on the Penske kit and Thermosman...

Dan Kyle is supposed to do a great job, too.

Re: Superbike fork respring and revalve recommendations? (Joe B)

Racetech is good ... real issue is who installs it. Whenever I do gold valves, I go one or two steps softer than they suggest. Then I use a lathe to cut the spring spacers. You wouldn't believe what hand cut spacers look like at even 100 rpm. Not being square leads to them collapsing.
