Hey JayJay,

IMHO You've got ZERO to worry about, at 1 time in between Now and then, you've turned the key ON but did NOT start her Up....
I am Guessing here about the time period, so these are just examples ej, SOOOOo what,... 1 day before or 1hr. before or 1 week before.... Again, You turned the key ON to check Your mileage, Headlight(s) or even to hear your Fuel Pump Running!:woot: OR.... something else?.... However, At this point, Your EFI system has just built up the fuel pressure. Meaning, Your "Fuel system" is already pressurize from that 1 week or 1 day or 1hr. ago before.
So,..... it appears Your SP1 has held the fuel pressure just fine all along....
Now, you come out and decide to start Her UP and since your EFI system has the fuel pressure built up, Your Fuel Pump stays silent...;) How's that sound?:D

I Hope this Helps,

Peace Jeff

I am with Jeff on this one, right before I read his post I was ready to reply the same. If you all were to do this as a check for leaks, and in 10' your bike primes again or keeps priming even if you didn't start it, you may have a leak and it is having a hard time pressurizing.

Also sometimes if you are outdoors and there is much background noise, there is also a buzzing and beeping going on, you may not be able to hear your pump prime. Your bike will not run for more than a few seconds without the pump.
