Calling rumor control... it's all just a gut feeling by a highly-placed team
member... no one has put pen to paper yet...
But the biggest talking point is the speed of the Honda... faster than Ducati
and Rosmaha (Rossi + Yamaha)

Faster Honda RC212 V,
Slower Yamaha YZR-M 1
The devastating top speed of Honda's RC212V was the biggest talking
point at Qatar. Many commentators got very excited discussing Honda's
new-found horsepower. But was it really such a surprise to see the
factory V4 storming past its Ducati and Yamaha rivals in a straight
line? No, it wasn't. Honda already had the fastest bike in MotoGP in
2009-the RCV scored the highest top speed in 10 of last year's 18
races. The days when Ducati's 800 was by far the quickest bike in
MotoGPare long gone-last year the Ducati only had the highest top
speed in' two races, while Yamaha was fastest in five races. Top speed
is important in racing, but not that important, as Rossi's Crew Chief
Jeremy Burgess is always keen to point out: "You only use top speed
once a lap, it's acceleration that really matters for the lap time."
JB is right, of course, but top speed is crucial for delivering extra
overtaking opportunities and, anyway, in racing a good top-speed
figure is only the result of strong acceleration. In fact the official
top speed figures from Losail (which features the second-longest
straight in MotoGP, after Mugello) put the Ducati and the Honda
neck-and-neck. Surprisingly, Hector Barbera's satellite team Ducati
GPI0 scored the highest mean top speed (an average of a rider's five
best top speeds) during the race at 201.6 mph, ahead ofAndrea
Doviziosoat 200.7 mph, Dani Pedrosa and Nicky Hayden at 199.6 mph and
Casey Stoner at 198.3 mph. Colin Edwards had the fastest Yamaha at
197.5 mph, just ahead of Ben Spies at 197.3 mph. Rossi had the slowest
bike of them all-at 196.1 mph.
No I'm not totally gone from this place. I've been real busy lately (or is it trying to stay busy since quiting the race scene ). Well I have managed to do that by messing around with my DRZ400 & my old crusty V-Strom, spent a shiny nickel on both in the last few weeks. Both rides have come...
My open letter to every FNG. Hope this helps. Zillers, please correct me where I am wrong, or elaborate where I am too light on details. Thanks.
My advice to you, new guy:
Read about motorcycle safety before you get started. Your state probably has a written license test required for drivers...
I thought it might be a good idea to have everyone post a track day photo.
Photo should be clear enough to just barely make out your face and be at a good angle. If you don't have one that shows your face then any one will do.
Just 1 photo. No banter or bickering. Just post a photo.
