I just got a 42 rear sprocket (real cheap) will this fit with the stock chain? Still have the stock 16 front. thanks

here's the deal: if the chain is brand new, it's goona be tight. if it's used a little, the wheel is gonna be shoved all the way forward.

i did it with mine and it worked. put a 15 on the front, (in conjunction with that 42 rear) and you're gonna love life...... really wakes the bike up.

Ya, if you're wheel is pushed far forward you can forget about using tall race rubber.

A friend of mine used 16 42 and a bt-001. I was behind him and maybe 1/4 mile on the track and he was smokin' like a chimney.

it worked just fine on my bike i have only had it on there for about a week im just waiting for my front sprocket and chain to come in tomorrow it is real close and isnt near enough power what size tire?

I have a race tech 190/55, and a 15 front, can I go with a 42, or 43 without the tire rubbing with the stock chain?
