Unfortunately, stories like this will fall on deaf ears in the lamestream media.
As for the basis of the story, looks like the Obama administration will do more to hurt race relations in this country than help. Not that its a surprise to those who paid attention to his affiliations prior to being elected, but those chickens are coming home to roost... taken from his buddy Rev Wright.
First the incident involving his friend Prof. Gates..Now the debacle in the news about Ms. Sherrod being fired by Obama's staff for an inflamatory speech.

So much for being a healer of relations between white and black.

Keep wishing(this guy,:wacky, with hood, here) . Agenda-driven attitudes on the right are just plain pathetic. This whole socialist/birther/racial/fill-in-the-blank soup that's on display is the dark...uhm, white underbelly of America. The rhetoric follows the perceived threat to dominance. That's really what it comes down to. It's even a part of the Arizona debate. Weeding through what's substantive and what's emotional is part of exercising democracy:twocents .

I actually don't wish for any of this. Fact is plain and simple. Obama is a divider, not a healer as advertised.

Obama's inability to show actual leadership is the problem not a perceived racist underbelly of America. That was pretty pathetic actually.

There's no racism in the Arizona debate except that from the left claiming to be based upon racism. Its nonsense.

The want to "reform" the imigration laws of the US is nothing more than an Democratic voter registration drive.

All of the so called emotion is from the left. Its all about feelings, not substance.

Yeah, Obama divides the far right and the far left because he's left of center. Why do you think the far left is so disappointed in him? From the right, he gets absolutely no credit for his moderation because...? Because Republicants want control again to push their greedy agenda...again. Look what happened last time they took the reigns.

All the so-called emotion is on the left? Wow. You couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from the inside. Those Teabaggers look like their gonna burst a blood vessel every time I see them. Level-headed not.

I guess in 3 months we'll see who's in touch with reality.

I wouldn't call it reality. I'd call it politics. They exist in parallel universes.
