I've just started to follow superbike racing, so maybe this is an old topic / issue.
Did any one catch the segment on MotoGP racing and the new regulation change for 2007 - possibly due to safety, the bikes may go from 900cc's to 800cc's.
Now I'm still trying to understand all of the different racing venues, AMA, supersport, superstock, MotoGP, and so on. But, as far as I can tell no one produces a 800cc bike currently, obviously 600, 750 and 900's. So, does this mean for the GP racing, they will take a 750cc bike and mod it out to a 800 or a 900 down to a 800.
And... does this mean Ducati and the others would introduce a 800cc bike as a general consumer line-up model, to compliment the MotoGP, 800 sector for racing?
Also, speed TV clue for this week is - MotoGP
