Hello all,

I just wanted to let you know that there will be a little more moderation on this forum and the Ducati section from now on. I have joined the mod-team in order to get things back on track.

This does not only include moderation of V4-talk (super annoying) and general overly harsh behaviour of certain members, but also highlighting the good stuff that´s been brought to the forums lately.

I would like to sticky some good threads that are worth reading like "Name the bike" and Turbo´s Winter Project 2.0 thread.

If you have any suggestions, please post them in this thread.

for example, there is a member (TROLL) here who has a signature "Banned", but should really be Antagonist... anyway, He is probably the most popular person on Ignore list... I've put him on my ignore list, and now enjoy seeing that little message instead of his posts... EXCEPT for when someone Quotes him. I've asked people to stop quoting him, but no avail. It would be nice to be able to TOTALLY Ignore those that annoy us. Thanks,

I can not do this, it would be up to an administrator as this is a software related change. Nevertheless, let´s see how things go from now on with Jamie and BLS. If it keeps being like we have witnessed in the past months, I´ll think about further actions. I´ve locked out Jimmy540i today because he annoyed the scheisse out of everyone on the Ducati forums, but I´d like to keep the forums as free to use for everyone as possible.

Haha, this is pure gold! You got a mortal verbal beatdown and looked foolish in front of the whole forum and that's my fault? Not everyone is good at the Internet, just accept it and move on. Don't let it affect your life so much.

For every person that has me on ignore, there are 10 that call me/PM me to laugh at people just like you who cannot get the hang of the InterWeb. Besides, most people who claim to have someone on ignore are lying. They read everything that person says because it matters to them. Trust me!

The only fair mod I've ever seen was LDH. The rest are powertripping dorks living in their parent's basement trying to get back at all the cool kids who made fun of them in highschool.

We will see what happens, it will take self-restraint on the part of any mods not to modify or delete posts, as well as ban users that question their methods or how the rules are applied.

Why dont you get off your butt and ban people who physically threaten other members? What kind of place allows, condones or tolerates this crap?

There are no excuses, explanations or justifications for allowing this threatening of others to continue. This place would be better off without it. What's next? Overt racism?

Just curious, do you actually own a motorcycle? I have never seen you post anything to do with motorcycles.... Surely there must be some other site you could frequent where you could spread the "good news" on all things BUT bikes......

A moderator will only do good for those that agree with what he is doing. When someone hijacks a thread with whatever... V-4 or I'm better than you and you suck type crap, those having the conversation should ignore it like the posted commercials you are not interested in. Do you reply to the advertising? Don't reply to those that post off topic or crap just to get a rise out of folks.

Seems like the same folks take the same bait time after time. Let's help the moderator by helping ourselves.

If I show you my bike's birth certificate.. will that change your mind? I bought it in Hawaii though...doh. I could show you my bike's grades!... Would that help? It's half black and half white.. does that matter?
