How complicated is it to replace 999 or CBR1000rr OEM plastics with skins?

is complicated...

(you might have to drill and trim to fit right...)

Sharkskinz are made very accurately, and rarely require any trimming to fit - unlike some other brands that are terrible.

All of the stock mounting points are marked with a little divot, so it's easy to know where to drill your holes. Pretty easy.

On some bikes, you may need to fabricate a bracket or two. For instance, if the race tail section is a solo cowl, and doesn't match up with the stock passenger seat bracket, you may need to make brackets...
