Anyone have them, any comments on quality? I'm planning on buying a set for my 748/870 in red. How silly is it that the blue ones are $15 more? Also, why do they not include the 7th hose that goes to the vertical cylinder? I will also be getting some smooth band,316 stainless steel hose clamps form McMaster Carr. They are cheaper in quantity, so if anyone needs them I will charge $2.00 per clamp (or $24 per set of 12) plus shipping. This will save about you about $11 from the ones MotoWheels sells. I will be ordering soon, so let me know.

Ah, Mr. Holic, you ask the same question that I had after I bought a set. I guess by asking yours, you have answered mine ..... I suppose that line to the rear jug is not included for some reason. Nope, it doesn't make sense to me either. The small line on the right side that goes to the resevior isn't included either, if it matters.

With regards to quality, they look like they are well made and the fit is perfect.

And, damn, was I supposed to use a smooth band clamp?

Also, couldn't hurt to check with Jason at Section Eight. That's where I bought a set of red. Good price, good delivery.

I had a set on my 996. I bought them from Motowheels. The quality is good.

The phucked part is, the only hose I’ve heard of failing here is the hose to the vertical cylinder... the one they don’t give you.

If in doubt you could always buy the Samco kit. Just a little bit more expensive

but you do get all 8 hoses and the standard color is blue (no extra charge for other colors).

Generally, Samco are regarded as the very best you can buy.

yes i have the samco kit and it has all 8 hoses i do not see any difference in the ones from moto, i have put a few sets on customers bikes,

Hmmm I'll have to check how much the o.e.m. hose to the vertical cylinder and the smaller rearward hose costs. Yoyodyne charges $220 for the set of 8, whille MW charges $120 for a set of 6. Decisions, decisions. Probably time to give Jason at Section8 a call.

you can find them on ebay that is were i got mine i think i paid 170.00 i think the place is performance hose??
