Is a MV agusta F4 cheaper or more expensive to maintain than a Ducati 4V?

the first service is a valve clearance service, but we haven't had to adjust one for a few years. then every 12. schedules are fairly similar, times a little less for majors. although you're supposed to replace a few things at 36,000 that could get really pricey.

it's a 916 with a 4 cyl engine really, with a slight bimota esque 'jam it in' philosophy. not too bad to work on, but annoying at times.

help me out but does the MV use a standard valvetrain or is it something different? i.e. rockers vs. springs

std ujm - shim under bucket, no rocker, valve spring. cam lobes are ground on an angle due to radial valves.
