anybody know the correct thread size for the rod end on the ride height adjuster? i have checked the parts catalogue and service manual but they don't have the thread size listed. i screwed up mine while trying to get the thing to turn

and about to have it custom made. i am communicating with the maker by email/fax so i can't really show him the actual rod end. any help is appreciated.

i'm thinking M10 or M12 thread size?

I don't know the thread size but remember that one end is reverse threaded.

i would have jason, no doubt. however, i am half the world far from you

and fabricating it takes only a few hours. labor is kinda cheap here. i would definitely order some parts from you one of these days.

btw, i found out that the size of the thread on rod end is M12x1.25x35 just in case anybody is interested. cheers.

Jason, I need a ride height adjuster rod. The upper fitting on mine is seized. No amount of liquid wrench and heat had persuaded it to move.
Can paypal you the funds. Just need your info.

The thread size on my '01 748 ride height adjuster rod is 12M x 1.5, right-hand on one end, left-hand on the other.

This is the only on-line source that I found (at the time I had some custom rods made) that had 1.5 tpm taps: http://www.e-taps.com/

owww good! i didn't use a thread gauge on the thing. i was just measuring the pitch of the thread and it looks like it's 1.75. i might be less accurate there
