Do you have your stock 749 upper triple clamp sitting around?

only 1 i have is on the bike, and its toast..
you dont want my triple clamp though, get one that is raised - more stability and u can move clip-ons higher so more comfortable for ur wrists..

You have probably never ridden a Tamburini-era superbike. For me, the clip-ons on the 749/999s are already too high as compared to the 916-styled bikes. I personally don't like the way they feel. To raise them even further...well, I might as well be riding a cruiser. I prefer more reach to the bars, like on the 748/916/996/998s.

The upper clamp is bent? Can I just have it then?

if i keep the bike (may, depending on buy-back price) ill give it to you, otherwise the insurance company keeps the bike and everything on it including all the extras.

i'll look at the bike again and see if i can get away with saying "it must have broke off in the accident".. ill get back to u tomorrow morning, i think i can pull it off - ill let u know.

Take your time and heal right. The ride, the road and your riding buddies will always be there.

Damn straight. I'm an old man and I still think bar risers are for girls.

moomba, i must have had a brain fart - after looking at it i remembered/realized that without the clamp i wont be able to keep the front end together..
i dont have an idea on whether or not the bike is going to ins. company, but if im keeping it, then the clamp is yours. BTW, its bent and scratched up.
