My clipons are hollowed out, and im having to use an aftermarket intuitive slider end that comes with a female nut that you crush into the bar. I know the RC has bar vibration for obvious reasons, but my hollowed bars make it almost unbearable.
My questions:
1. Do those without hollowed out bars(stock) have a horrible vibration issue?
2. Does anyone have a suggestion for my situation, other than new clipons?
3. What can be done to further dampen the vibration on the stock clipons?
Thanks guys

Re: Rediculous bar vibration (Shrewd)

You can fill the tubes with lead shot or try some silcone caulking as I have heard mentioned or you can just suck it up & ride the bike. If you want comfort buy a Goldwing...

haha. I'm not looking for comfort, but a numb hand makes for poor throttle control.

Re: Rediculous bar vibration (Shrewd)

The first time I rode my RC with the hollow clipons my hand went numb for three days straight. The next weekend I rode it again for a full day and all feeling came back and its been fine since. No joke. Try to ride it again and see if it gets better.

Re: Rediculous bar vibration (Darth Humungus)

if you have aftermaket clips use some carbon fiber bars, helped my vibes out two fold.
