Selling my 2005 749s.
Reason for sale:
I don't want a superbike on the street anymore - I am doing more trackdays and will be taking novice race school next year (on my R6 trackbike). Since riding a superbike on the track I no longer enjoy riding one on the street. Can't afford to race a $15,000 bike, so have decided to sell and let someone else enjoy it. This bike had NEVER been on a track.
Bike was bought in January 2005.
2300 miles total.
Rear tire (Pilot Power) replaced at 600 miles due to puncture
Fully wrapped headers
Swingarm spools
600 mile service completed
Extended manufacturers warranty - 5.5 years left of a total 6 years
Otherwise the bike is totally stock. Intended to keep this bike for a long time (thus the extended warranty), but priorities change. Bike has always been garaged.
Why buy this bike?
Already broken in (by the book) so no need to change at 6000 rpms - you can take it all the way to the limiter.
First service alreay done (and paid for)
Under fulll warranty for more than another 5 years - VERY RARE to find and expensive to purchase
Has none of the early model issues.
