I found this while searching some racing stuff and would like some info on it. Is it still functional and what's it about? I am stuck at the hospital for a month and will be back in the next few months and thought this might be a source of entertainment while getting treatments. If I do the bone marrow transplant I will be in isolation for at least 30 days alone with no contact other than phone and internet. Any info anyone? THANKS HOOVY

It's a private site (by invitation only) and almost every motorized race can be found on it. They have all the FP/QP for GPs/F1/WSBK/Rally/MX etc etc. You will get kicked off the site if you don't particitpate and seed the races you download. You can't just hit and run cuz they'll boot you and if you upload a virus, your entire invite chain will get booted. I can't spare another invite but maybe someone else will be kind enough to sort you out.

If you like racing and you don't have an RU membership, then you really don't like racing. Just saying...........

I'm new to the whole RU and file sharing. I am a member of RU but do not understand how it all works. I know they have waived the seeding rules (for now) but how do you get the source to seed in the first place? I do not have cable/Sat. Other than getting it from another site, I'm not sure.

i'm out of invites guys, i used my remaining 3 to folks here.

as for how it works, if you just download using utorrent, you can leave them in your queue for others to bum off of you(if you click on the race you will see the others that are connected pulling from you), just like you bummed them off earlier from a bunch of other users.

you don't want to download a race, then hop off, leave it there and on for others to grab from you also. that's how it works.

Why not just download the races with bit torrents? That's what I do and it works just fine. As long as the race is recent and there are enough seeders it takes like 20 minutes to download

Maybe they have better quality on RU?

I believe it is a torrent, but you have to share at least as much as you get or they ban you and the fellow who sent you. I'm a member of a few sites like that. The cool thing is you can get stuff you cant get anywhere else and there is almost always someone seeding.
