Hey guys -
got a 93 KX250 in the garage that I haven't really ridden in the past two years - ProCircuit pipe, Moose bars, etc. It's definetely had a few rough miles & could use some TLC. I got it about three years ago. Anybody want to venture a guess what a guy might be able to get for it?

mucho thx!!

Re: pricing on a 93 kx250 (crashhappy)

Unfortunately technology has advanced so much with motocross bikes over the last ten years that you can only get around $500. - $700. for a bike that old, especially if it has been rode hard. Although there is always a sucker waiting around every corner that may give more.

Re: pricing on a 93 kx250 (motohed)

That's not the case where I live (about 2 hours north of Moorehead MN). 90 CR 250 in the paper for about $1500 USD.

Check you local autotrader/buy&sell to get an idea.

Re: (patman)

I can't believe the price used bikes are going for, in Oklahoma they are not getting that much. Great idea looking in the local trader to get a baseline price. I guess I am just looking at it from an active motocross rider/racer point of view knowing the 93 model bike will be of no value to me. Your local bike shop may let you put it on the lot also, just remember to clean it up best you can. It will bring more money for sure; better yet why don't you trade that bike in for a new one and go ride.
