Re: Predictions for GP Shanghai + AMA (neddyseagoon748)

if Mladin doesnt win, it will be a DNF. I dont see him being beaten until the factory in Italy steps up with some kit.

Hodgson 2nd, Eboz 6th -- both races. Suzukis fill out the podium.

*Has anyone noticed any 05 Suzuki DNF a race worldwide.... yet???

I dont know anything about the new track in China, so I'm just going to predict based off ease of bike setup and Rossi being God and all. Capirossi still has the broken ankle, no?

Rossi 1st, Hondas take next 4 places. I'm calling DNF for Melandri.

I retract the #2 spot for Shackey as the team won't be in the race.

I like Rossi, but I think he is going to have a hard time working for 1st places now. If he gets 1st place would be great, but I think a 2nd place is possible

Shoot, Neddy, we always gave you the benefit of the doubt assuming your choices were based on totally biased, blind nationalism (and maybe imperialism, too). There, I said it.

If you don't have that as your source for choosing Shakey for the 2nd step, we might have to start thinking you actually are totally bonkers

Now, for the GP:

1. Gibernau (I know, I know. I just think he's going to pull his finger out this time)
2. Rossi
3. Biaggi

Nicky can't seem to figure it out, so he doesn't make the list.

g-day James,

yes, I'm bonkers m8.

Looks like the forecast for Shanghai is wet. Which means all bets are off.

If one believes some of the comments by the riders, the track looks like shite as well

""My first impressions of the circuit yesterday were very good, but after riding on it today I must admit it wasn't as much fun as I expected," confessed Rossi.

"It is actually quite tight and technical and is very much a Formula 1 track, so all the riders have a lot of hard work to do finding the right setting for the bikes here. It is not ideal for a MotoGP bike," he added.

"This circuit is spectacular but the track is not among my favourites," confirmed Sete. "The two straights are very long and quick but the corners are not fast."

But at least Rossi and Gibernau have found something they agree on..."

Malicious:
I think Cappi is on the mend, so he should be good to go. And methinks he rides rather well in the drizzle.
