I have a question . I have had my Spal mounted with some metal zip ties but today I stopped at the shop and got the pins that push through the radiator. Now my question is , do I just push the through and will this cause any damage. Thanks in advance.

IF the "pins" as you call them are anything like what I attached my Trans cooler to my Radi. in my Van.. They are plastic and like more like a "long nail with an extra big flat head" on it... You just have to be careful pushing it through the radi. fins, once you've lined up your "pin",.. I'll call it a Spike or Plastic FlatHead Nail
... It will go right in between said Radiator Fins... it might flair out the fin(s) a hair but nothing major. So all this to say... NO, there will be NO damage, just as long as you're careful eh.I Hope this Helps

Why not just make some aluminum brackets and call it good?
$6 at home depot for some 1/8 inch aluminum flat stock, some quality time spent with a hacksaw, a drill, a hammer, a vise and a bastard file, and you are done! Took all of about 30 minutes:

Not trying to hijack thread but hoping to ask a question. What spal fan should I use? Size? Pusher? ebay link maybe? Please pm me with details. Havent got a concrete answer on which to buy and wanna buy soon. Thanks
