Re: (section8superbike)

Jason,
This is on topic ... kinda .......

The 05 999's come with Pilot Powers , it's my first time using them.
My current PSI's ( as set by the dealership ) are 33 Front/38 Rear HOT.
It doesnt feel right.
What PSI's ( hot & cold ) is your Rep recommending and what do you find best for street use with these tires?
I know there are alot of posts about PSI for these tires but I trust your info , it has worked for me in the past on numerous occasions.
Thanks.

Re: (hearing8)

Thanks Hearing8.

The bike felt spongey , like the tire pressure was too low so those numbers would explain it.

I will try the 38F/36R cold PSI and let you guys know how it feels in comparison that way when EVERYONE buys thier Powers from Section 8 , they will know what pressure to run in them.

Michelin rep I spoke with suggested 30/30 for canyons and track. This was corroborated by the tech @ Graves racing who set up my suspension.

What if I drop by and pick a set up. How much then? Or what if I bring my old bolony skins by and you swap them for the new rubber.

Re: Pilot Powers (section8superbike)

Are you going to be bringing to the May track day ?

If not I'll pay now now and would you then consider bringing them ????

I know this is a very subjective question but, what kind of mileage can you get out of these on a "norma" street ridden bike?? Also Chapparral has a speical on both tires for 199.74, but I'm pretty sure that's not shipped.

Re: (galaxy)

where did you see the powers for $199? got a link?
G
It was in the newest Cycle World (I think...one of them) in the Chapparral add. They usually have a big, yellow spread that cover's a few pages. Sorry, I don't have a link but I did a search and found the web site, but the deal is not on the web site, just in the mag. It was $199.74 for 120/70 and 180/55 or 190/50, but like I said, I would bet money that doesn't include shipping. I'm gonna call and find out though...

What kind of lifespan can I expect out of these tires? I have BT-10's right now and need new rubber.....
