Re: PCIIIr link (RVT4LIFE)

I used a male db9 to female db9 cable, RadioShack has them. It's a blue/white box, that says "Shielded RS-232C Cable" on the front.

Re: PCIIIr link (RVT4LIFE)

A serial link worked for me.
Are you trying to load a map into the power commander with a desktop computer and then go install the power commander into the bike?
To do that, you need a 9 volt battery and piggyback cable which comes with the power commander.
This is only till you get it in the bike and hook up the bike battery.
If you are using a laptop and the power commander is already installed in the bike then i will go away and shut up now.

A 15 pin serial port? Stop plugging your power commander into your video port and you might have some better luck!
