With the purchase of any set of OZ Motorbike wheels, we are offering Michelin Power Pure tires in selected tire sets for $99.95/set. Double sided swing arm bikes require a rear sprocket with the correct bolt spacing for the OZ Motorbike wheel, which can be purchased separately. Optional mounting and balancing is $60.00. UPS ground shipping charges will be extra.

On the 1198 Base model, how much weight do you save with the OZ wheels?

On the 1198 Base model, how much weight do you save with the OZ wheels?

I don't have weights for the base model 1198 wheels.

The OZ wheels weigh ( with all bearings, spacers, valve stem):
front: 7.4 lbs
rear 8.5 lbs

It was approx 2 lbs lighter than the forged aluminum marchesini wheels for the same application but 2 lbs heavier than the forged magnesium marchesini wheels. It was about the same weight as the cast magnesium marchesini wheel.
