I searched the archive and could not find the post I saw earlier about the mcmaster carr part numebr for the wellnuts to holt the windscreen on a 916/748/996 etc. Does anyone recall the nut size and pitch or the mcmaster part number.

Ok anyone have any info on this. I need new windscreen nuts as well and they are something like $9 ea. for a ducati dealer. Anyone know another source? Thanks!

I do not know part number from Mcmaster Carr but Corse Meccanica sells a ti nut and bolt set for the wind screen, cheaper than going with stock! Here is the link to the web site. I have done and continue to do a lot of business with these folks, they're top notch.

Give Jason a call. The wellnuts labeled specifically for the 916 series SBK are only available as a kit including the wellnut, plastic washer, and bolt ($9 each). The 749/999 windscreen wellnuts are the exact same part, but you can buy them seperately. Your looking at around $5 for all 9 if I remember right.
