I tried riding tonight and it hurt like hell. So I think riding this weekend is a no go.

FYI: I have second degree burns on three of my fingers on my left hand. Had an incedent at work last thursday. Dr said today It's healing well and I should have full use of my hand in 7-14 days. Work is going to be paying dearly for this....

Maybe this ' no-ride ' worked out for the best... I just came back from a couple hour ride and it was brutal...

No cool air out there...

Even around the lakes it's hot and sticky...

Saw a Bank sign with 103 degree reading...

Time for a brew or six...

I agree, Sat was brutal, was hoping for cooler temps on Sunday, but again,
it was so damn hot I didn't even think about putting the riding gear on..

I was totally jealous of the bikes constantly blasting up and down my
street, but every single rider was in helmet, short, t-shirt, and sneaks..
I just couldn't bring myself to do it..

I did see a "first" on Saturday afternoon, some girl riding a Kawi in the
shorts/sneaks/tank top/helmet get up, driving down my street one handed
while she two-wayed on her cingular phone... unbeliveable..
