The stock clutch basket weighs 3 pounds. It will cause premature wear of the tabs on the friction plates of your clutch, because it only contacts 55% of the available tab area. (most other manufacturers use 6000 series which is much less expensive). We use a zinc cromated steel ring to prevent separation of the fingers at extended high rpms.
