Has anyone used a motorcycle hitch carrier? Are they secure? I was thinking about trying to carry my bike on the hitch of my truck.

I havn't used one but I've seen quite a few being used at the track. I havn't heard of any mishaps, most look well made.

Dutch and Germans use them a lot on their caravans. Looks like a nice way to avoid using a trailer.

I have also been contemplating getting one to haul my dual sport around, I just need a van that I can sleep in and I'll be all set.:rockon

I had a Moto-tote to haul my dirtbike around it worked fine. A buddy of mine even bought a cheap carrier from Cabela's to haul his CRF 50 around but it was built for deer so I wouldn't suggest a streetbike on one of those things.:woot:

I used a mototote for a couple of years. This is there small one they have a heavier duty one also. Loved it and it was perfect for me since I lived in downtown Chicago where space is limited.
