hello all

im going to get back in gear on my project modding madness.
it has been awhile since i left off.
the engine has been sitting idle a couple years,what should
i do before i go to start it?

Before you hit the start button I'd pre-oil the bearings because the crank might
be resting on dry bearings... how???

1) lay the bike off to one side and remove the clutch cover...
2) next remove the clutch basket and then the gear on the crank...
3) finally spin the oil pump counterclock wise and force fresh oil to float the
crank off those poor dry bearings...

Its possible hitting the start button with out per oiling may cause bearings marks...

1st thing i will be doing is the stick coil mod,then finishing the rest of the harness.
after that will be the carbs, the rad .and oil cooler.
that will leave brake caliper rebuilds and bodywork and lights
i do see light at the end of this tunnel!

i have made my decision as far as any carbon parts for my project.
in looking around i have decided to go with the tyga rc51
front fender and sp2 hugger.
they are somme of the nices ones i have seen.
i guess im going to have a tyga themed bike since i have a
couple of maggots on it also.
as far as bodywork i may go with the current gen. cbr1000 fairing and an rs125 or 250
tail.
thoughts?

The CBR1000 body work could look great. Whether it's possible or not is up to your creativity and enginuity. I know a lot of people hate it, but I think its badass. U thinking of the older, rounder, RS tail or the newer square-ish one?
