Got to meet another Speedzilla member over the weekend. HeavyZ came up from Florida for the holdays and dropped by sunday to see me. Modded some parts and had him take a ride on the Zuki 2-stroker that's older then him. Hell of a nice guy... glad to meet you, Zach. Just might have to visit Florida one day.....:p

(Yes....that is an RC51 master and a CRG front brake lever..... )

If Zach could get that bike to do a stand up, or even a "slightly more then up from a sitting position", he's a better rider then both of us.......!!!:D :clapper

That's not an old bike..... they still use those over here for the police bikes!!!!

:D

Nice Zuki....... looks in good condition too....!

How far do you have to think ahead before the brakes actualy work? (just joking).....

I have an old Kwak in the garage, 1978 I think it is..... Z1000R hasn't been run on the road for 14 years...... rebuilt, unsiezed, started etc every year though afterwards !......

Oh....no joking about it. If you want to stop in 500 feet on a saturday, you better start thinking about it tuesday....:D

Front master is of the RC51, with a stainless brake hose and carbon metalic pads.. Stops MUCH better then stock, but nothing like modern bikes. It's only a large, single piston caliper, on a small, non-drilled brake rotor.

The caliper is the down fall. Not interested in making it stop any better then it does. It's just a fun bike to ride....

I had a 77 KZ1000....didn't stop and didn't turn, but it went straight in a hurry....:p

Dave I could have used your hands sunday. I was about to push the RC out of the garage and into the street. These brake lines are a bitch with the double banjo.

Had I know Z was up I could have ridden over.
