had a booboo 2 weeks ago, front end washed out and went over a 75 foot cliff, then the RC decided to land on top of me when i stopped. i'm thinking with some touch up paint it'll be good to go :D

arai ftw, only lost 1 piece of plastic on it and the visor, with some scuffs and stuff

i'm disappointed the cf snorkel didn't hold up though :D

part out soon to come, of what little is left

8 major fractures, femur was sticking through my suit. ribs, lower leg, left forearm, wrist, right elbow, crushed hip, all kinds of fun stuff. luckiest man alive cause i kept all my limbs, no back/neck/head trauma and everything is working, although left hip/leg movement is limited at the moment.

Oh my god, man. Two summers ago my brother in law and I were riding Hwy 215 when he had a pretty bad get off. He crossed the double yellow around a right hand turn, and a truck was coming the other way. They made contact (not head on) and BIL lost it. He hit the guard rail on far left of the road and over the edge he went, down about a 50 ft drop, smashing his body against trees as he went down.

It all happened about 10 feet in front of me, as I was on his ass. I stopped the RC at the top of the hill and ran (fell) down to him. It was STEEP. When I got to him, his left leg was bent at a 90 degree angle midway between his hip and knee. NASTY.

His femur was a compound fracture, but not through his leathers. I never even saw any blood (it was pooling in his pants). Just his leg bent unnaturally. I can't say that I feel your pain, but I've witnessed it first hand.

Get yourself put back together real quick, then get to work on that piggie. You'll both ride again!

*BTW - Where are you located? Anywhere near Greenville SC?

that's crazy, and the bike landed on you too.Wow, you are one lucky guy...i had almost the same accident 10 years ago in angeles crest highway california, my zx7 front end lost traction, slid across the road, then went down a 50 feet cliff, luckily my bike flew away from me, and I landed on a three branch on the bottom. i walked away with a nasty road rash(i was only wearing leahter jacket and jeans...) and a copressed disc.Got my first ever helicopter ride to the ER.....:D.Wish you a fast recovery......

+1, I'm glad you are OK and here to talking to us, considering your crash, I know YOU Know,... You are Blessed to be ALive! Not only that... BUT... It sounds like You also Know... This still could have gone\been way worse.

Hey mang., Let me guess, You were cranked WAY Over in a Left hander, which just happens to be the side Your (SPAL Pusher Fan) is mounted... You MUST have forgotten that little bitch ON.... which in-turn made your front end Go Lite from Pushing so much AIR\Wind through your Left Rad. (think Helicopter here:D)

Now what I do know is>>> You just started hurting quite a bit more just NOW.... Because I KNOW, Having Broken RIBS and caughing, OR in Your case here> "Laughing" Hurts like a son of a bitch;)

By the way, My pusher fan works Awesome! Thanks for the tip... I just have to remember NOT to have it ON while Banked over!:D Quit Laughing man... You are ONLY Hurting Yourself!:D

My Prayers are with You, have a Speedy & FULL Recovery brother!

Peace Jeff

PS. Are you home NOW? Do you need anything... Mags., puzzle, movies? Let me know, I have acouple DVDs (NO Porn) I could send you...? PM me your shipping info.!

what's really ****ed up is the wrecker pic. there was a guy on a cruiser that wrecked the same time i did a few turns behind me. his bike had minimal damage, like some dents and dirt and he was airlifted same as me, then ended up dying the next day. it still amazes me that cruiser riders think that hitting a ditch on a cruiser at 30mph is much safer than hitting the ditch on a sport bike at 30mph, so they don't need to wear any safety gear

this pic says it all about how gear can save your ass:
