Yes, they are great handlers due to the "massive" frame compared to the weight but the motor......... uggh, that POS motor. Merely OK in the very tight twisties but an absolute dog if you ride anywhere else.
That bike holds the record for the shortest time in my garage (circa '92) since I live around more straights than twisties. But yes, the hook was set and I bought the very first SuperHawk in my region; a MUCH better and complete streetbike IMNSHO.
If you want a better, more modern Hawk, throw a SSSA on an SV650 and stop waiting. :rockon
