So, i am tired of my pipes looking crappy.

Was thinking about sending them to JetHot to color them black.

I heard it improves performance and keeps the radiant heat from frying ones legs too.

Anyone had this done? Whats the verdict?

never used them myself but a friend of mine has sent several sets of pipes to them, and swears by their work. Says refitting some slip joints can be tough, but thats to be expected with a coating.:twocents

One of their coating facilities is in Pascagoula, MS.

I wonder if they are still there?

I reccomend it; haven't done it on bike pipes, but have on car exhaust manifolds and saw a drop in under hood temps.
